NOTE: This book is written entirely in Spanish

The kitchen is above all identity. We are what we eat and we eat what we are. Each recipe, each dish, each bite weaves the story of our life and shows the nature of the small universe that governs us. The closest is always the most intimate, which in a city like Antofagasta, Chile, takes shape in culinary influences from all over the world. Cooking is also a fundamental weapon for development.

Every gesture we make in that family or commercial space called the kitchen has consequences in the world around us. This book talks about all that. It is the consequence of the tremendous work that the La Chimba Gastronomic Corporation has been carrying out in Antofagasta, Chile for two years to value cuisine as an instrument for the growth of the city and, at the same time, a weapon to overcome inequality.
