50 pp. Illus. with drawings and photographs. Pictorial green wrappers. First Edition. NY: Boy Scouts of America, 1929.

This is not a cookbook but was too charming to pass up. A guide for young nature collectors, for gathering and displaying butterflies, seeds, wood, minerals, etc. Instructions include how to make terrariums, aquariums, cigar box displays for mounting specimens, etc.

Small spot to lower front wrapper, fading to extremities; owner\’s name to upper title page, else very good.
